  • Morning scones!

    I’ve been making these scones from the NYT for quite some time now. My favorite part is I can put a couple of the raw scones in the freezer for another day!

    Alcoholism is a constant back of the brain topic for me. From relationship background to the “would one more be so bad?” moments I encounter any time I find the bottom of a glass.

    Saoirse Ronan’s characterter Rona is both an inspiring and heartbreaking canvas to let chemical imbalance play out upon; you spend much of the film simultaneously rooting for her and expecting the next bad thing to happen.

  • on the innocence of childhood giggles

    While his friends and cousins love things that are far more adult in their target demographic, my son absolutely delights in watching Winnie the Pooh. The sight of Tigger, Rabbit, and Pooh bumbling their way through a problem reduces him to such innocent giggles that it is almost too much to imagine him not doing so some day. They are some of the most precious moments he gives.
